On June 13, 2024, MITCORP held its first ESG-themed event – “Warm Beach clean-up Family Day”. This event aimed to promote environmental protection and sustainable development concepts among employees and their families.
The event began with a brief introduction to MITCORP’s ESG initiatives and future plans. Employees and their families then participated in various interactive activities, including:
- Beach clean-up
– Participants spent over 3 hours around the Taiwan north coastal Gong-liao beach, and finally pick up about 70 kg trash and recycling wastes.
- Sustainable Lifestyle Pledge
– Families made personal commitments to adopt more eco-friendly habits, such as reducing plastic use, saving energy, and promoting waste sorting.
- Environmental Education for Kids
– Children attended interactive workshops to learn about environmental protection, renewable energy, and the importance of protecting our planet.
- ESG Knowledge Quiz & Game
– Employees and families tested their knowledge of ESG-related topics through a fun quiz, with prizes for the top scorers.
The event was well-received by all participants, who expressed their enthusiasm for MITCORP’s efforts to integrate ESG principles into the company culture. It successfully promoted environmental awareness and encouraged everyone to contribute to a more sustainable future.
